Ultra Durable Combination Lock

This is another version of my fully printed combination lock. A majority of the internals are remodeled and the assembly is now even easier! This model allows you to easily set any combination you would like and it is fully 3d printed. To use the lock you just set the correct code, pull the shaft firmly from the bottom, and swing the top of the lock out of the way. 

To set the code just align the number you would like with the open slot on the ring. 
 

The first step to assembly is to slide the ring that does not have a lip onto the core. Ensure the ring has the groove facing right. 
 

 Next you just repeat this with the 3 rings which have the lip, again ensuring the groove is facing right. 

Then screw the top part onto the main core and align the correct combination with the marker on the bottom.

The last step is to push the key shaft through the lock. You will likely need to move the rings around slightly to get it all the way through. Once it is through you can swing the lock part over the shaft and push the shaft up to lock.
