Description

Here is my version of a Detroit Lions rally necklace.

Integrated the link into the logo for a cleaner look.

The medallion is about 8.75" wide by ½" thick.

Filament used:

Bambu Lab Matte Light Gray PLA

Bambu Lab Basic Cobalt Blue PLA

Creality White PLA

I have black, white, and blue filament. I can’t get it to print all 3 colors. It is just black and blue. Can’t I just swap the gray for black? What am I doing wrong?

is this the mini Detroit lions chain profile? it should be set up for 3 colors already after you slice the print. do you have 3 colors in your filament tree and they are the correct 3 different colors?

I have black white and blue. yes, it’s the mini one. it’s red in the example.

You should be able to just change the colors in the "Project Filaments". Slice the file and see if you have 3 filament changes. For some reason you may only have 2. You'll have to go to the layer you want it to change colors and add a filament change. Sorry for this. I have not heard of this issue until now.

It is Inland Blue by Inland. Got it from microcenter a month or 2 back but haven't been able to find it again since.

A1M Lions Chain 70% Scale 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 10% infill

This print is fantastic !!! Bambu Lab A1 Mini... No AMS. Layers... for color changes... Silver - Layers 1 to 33. White - Layers 34 to 39. Blue - Layers 40 to 44. (The integrated Chain Link is completed after the 28th layer.) I did change to 50% speed during that 33rd layer, and continued at that speed until complete. When the 39th layer is complete, the 40th started on the lower paw, so be ready to hit pause, so you can unload-load for the final color. I definitely will be using this again on my A1 Mini.

The A1 Mini print needs more links. I printed the 10 link plate in 3 colors and the chain is still too short. Maybe up the link count to 12 to 15 links on the plate. An increase on all the link plates is probably a good idea.
