Description

Pin Caster Adapter for Office Chair wheels etc.

This adapter is designed to securely attach a pin caster (such as those from an office chair or, in my case, an old Karcher shop vacuum). It fits a pin with a diameter of approximately 11-0.2mm, offering a snug and stable fit. Additionally, the adapter includes screw holes that accommodate pan head screws with a maximum head diameter of 10mm and a shaft diameter of 5mm.

Optimized Profiles for Different Strengths:

To provide flexibility, three different print profiles are available, each offering varying infill densities and wall thicknesses. The bottom layer thickness has been carefully selected to slightly increase material usage while significantly enhancing the strength of the adapter, even in the lightweight version.

Medium-Weight Print Profile:

  • Infill: 50%
  • Weight: 20.3g

Heavy-Duty Print Profile:

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Wall Count: 6 walls
  • Infill: 50%
  • Weight: 21.9g

These profiles offer a variety of options depending on the desired strength and material usage. Whether you need a lightweight version for standard use or a more robust design for heavier-duty applications, these profiles provide the flexibility to suit your needs.

I used these to make a simple dolly for my EcoFlow Delta 3 -- very thankful that I kept the wheels from my old broken desk chair!

I'm not sure if you used the IKEA ALEX DRAW as a reference, but the wholes of the adapter matched perfectly the factory holes for wheels of the IKEA ALEX DRAW Thanks for the model

The hole for the chair wheel was VERY snug for me, but everything was able to fit with the right application of pressure. Good print!
