Description
Background:
While browsing models, I encountered a gold bar design, which, combined with the popularity of openwork keycaps, inspired me to create a gold bar keycap set, including Enter and Space keys. I incorporated imagery found online (see below) in the design, ensuring compatibility. From now on, my daily work will involve “tapping” gold bricks, and I wish everyone prosperity in the coming year.
(This model was completed at home earlier but I lacked the time to upload it until now, having found some free time while traveling.)
Specifications:
Two types of standard keycap sizes are included for the Space bar (dimensions adjusted for optimal printability and gold bar resemblance; compatibility guaranteed), both 10mm high: one beveled, one not. The Enter key is un-beveled. Refer to the image below for details.
Features:
- Rapid printing, minimal filament usage: Approximately 6g of filament and a 50-minute print time for the Space bar; less than 3g and approximately 28 minutes for the Enter key.
- No supports needed.
