Boost Me (for free)

These designs take time (and filament) to develop.
Help support my creations with a boost!

Needed a laptop stand just in time for the offseason. Designed this to accommodate 3 x 1" dowels.

  • Install the dowels with glue or epoxy.
    • The dowel holes are slightly undersized (0.975" dia). Most of the dowels I found were not exactly 1".
    • I used E6000 glue in the holes and on the dowels, and let it dry for 24hrs.
  • Install a piece of wood or board as the top.
    • I used ¼" wood screws to fasten the top to the print.
    • I went to IKEA's re-use section and found a flat cabinet that fit my laptop and phone stand perfectly.

It's by far and away not perfect. Everything has a little flex to it, but its working perfectly for me in a pinch!
