Nice print overall, but some coasters did not turn out well (see the bottom ones)

I printed it twice. The top photo shows how the coding, if allowed to continue to the end, covers up the words with a layer of brown. The bottom image was where I cancelled the print just before it covers the words but if you look closely, there’s tiny holes where the printing doesn’t approach the letter closely enough and leaves holes.

the thin top layer didn't quite work for me, had to shave it off. thinner first layer had trouble adhering to build plate too.

Other Issues:The upper side of the print is somewhat unclean, especially the bull and the cola bottle The lower side is consistently poor across all prints, the text is illegible It is a pity, it was intended as a gift for a chemist

Sorry to hear that. Have you changed any settings in the printing profile? Or did you download the file at STL format and print it with your own settings? Because in my printing profile, there is a special configuration: - a width for the 1st layer of 0.3mm to have maximum detail on the main side of the coaster - two final very thin layers (0.08mm) to obtain a smooth and almost transparent surface over the name of the molecules Can you tell me more?

I used the print profile without modifications and printed with a P1S Perhaps the brown PLA Metal was the issue

CH3-OH is methanol not Ethanol CH3-CH2-OH is Ethanol

This is not CH3-OH that is designed but CH3/\OH that is the skeletal formula for CH3-CH2-OH (ethanol)

Replying to @lalou :
Might look confusing but you are correct, the dented line indicates another -CH2- in between the two ends.

need to scale them up as they are a bit small for the cups

It is a great design, but like others using a p1s with green lettering on grey the text was completely obscured. I ended up sanding the lettering side to expose the text again. Thanks for the design.
