Description

Boost Me (for free)

Your boost is appreciated and allows me to experiment with new cool designs

I took inspiration from other Apple Watch charger cases and designed one that is as small as possible (70x42.5x21mm).

One other major change from the ones I found is that they use a cover that snap and I prefer sliding cover as it's less likely to pop open and easier to work with.

I managed to fit my USB-C charger cable nicely inside without much issue.  Getting the charger itself into the hole requires a bit of force as the tolerance is small to ensure it's staying in-place.

I heard and listened to your issues and V2 Is now available

V2 includes the following changes:

  • Bigger opening in the cable connector (4.2mm) to support older cables with sleeve on the charger connection
  • Bigger space between the charger and the wall for easier threading of the cable
  • Rounded edges to reduce chance of damaging the cable
  • The case itself stayed the same size!!

I printed it on my Bambu A1 mini with 0.2 mm layer with support in standard speed (it won't work great in higher speeds)

I published a matching cable organizers at the same size for a matching set.

is it an original cable? It looks different from what I got with my watch.

Okay, that’s interesting. what model is it? if you have a caliper and can tell me how thick is the connection, I can update the model to fit it.

Fantastic print! It didn’t fit my old watch 3 charger (USB-A, thicker cable near the charge puck) but this was easily resolved with a small file. Love how the cable can be fully tucked away as well, just a superb case that will go with me everywhere! thank you for sharing

Which filament did you use for printing? The colour looks nice.

Perfect impression but impossible to insert the Apple Watch charger I tested with another Apple Watch charger and the problem persists

If you used the uploaded profile it should fit snugly as it did for everyone else. Use a bit of force on the edge of the charger opposite to the cable.

I had to lightly scrape it using a scalpel, and it fits perfectly Thank you very much

it’s not meant for the USB-A cable, if I remember correctly, that cable was a bit longer than the USB-C one.

it is a little tight inside, and had to cut some of the support away, and likely have to sand some down, but looks fantastic!

I know, I had to make the cable guides inside very thin to get to that target size :) I found that printing it with snug support makes the support easier to remove with a small screwdriver (I use watch makers screwdrivers to remove support on my prints). Glad you liked it! Honestly I'm surprised how many people printed it already.
