Perfect gift for the kids :) I ended up deciding to hand paint the snake instead as I didn't want to do 387 filament changes and waste 239g of filament in the process. Thanks for sharing.

Ah cool! I‘m curious. how many colour changes did you end up with?

Replying to @3DPrintCraft3D :
Probably 0. They printed in single colour and then painted the gold using a brush.

Actually, printed the ends with gold filament ;) Top had 2 filament changes (red>gold>red) and 1 change on the bottom (gold>red) So 3 changes all up :) Only the snake was painted.

The design is fantastic, but there are a few minor issues.

Tabs were way too easily broken. Didn't apply any forces before one started bending over into the maze galley. Optimized my print for my P1S as much as I could, and the cost was still high at $3.25, and a lot of wasted PLA. Model is 88g.. waste was 75g - flushed into some objects.... Took 15 1/2 hours to print.. just to have the tabs break and render it inoperable.... I'd rather see the model have pins or screws... something removable or inserts le so the whole thing is t trashed when one breaks

Damn, that's a shame your nubs broke off. And strange that it bent over the maze, I've never had it happen to our. Although it's rare, it can happen they break. I've had nearly 9'000 downloads and only a few reported nubs breaking from the maze. For this specific model I actually even made them a little bigger compared to all my other puzzle mazes. Maybe you can print a new nub and glue it on?

Does anyone have the solution drawn on a piece of paper? I have traced it on the model but would be good to have a reference in front of me..
