Description

Hey! I updated my original 32x 18650 Cellholder storage and made some tweaks to the 3D model so that it slices and prints better on all slicers! Additionally Vase Mode is not required anymore to get the fastest print time possible! You can now slice two or more models on the same buildplatform for optimal printing speed! Additionally Scaling the model up now works like a charm and does not break some slicers anymore (prusaslicer) (yay!).

With all those updates im printing this model in 1h 30min at 45-60mm/s, 0.2mm Layerheight. But I am sure you can push it even lower when your printer can handle higher extrusion speeds.

The model can be printed at 100% scale for the thinner 18650 Batteries (like the Panasonic 18650CGR[XX] series) or at 101.2% scale for the thicker versions (like the Sanyo ones). I like it when the grip is a little more loose since it makes the upper and lower half of the holder seperate easier if you want to take the cells out of storage again.

I hope you enjoy this model and if you do, please post a make or a comment!

If you feel very generous today I would appreciate a small donation to my paypal! Thank you <3

EDIT:
To make this  model slice properly in bambu studio/orcaslicer

  • use 0.35mm line width
  • use classic wall generator

This 3d model is from a time where printers werent this accurate. The model kinda relies on having no pressure advance and a little overextrustion to bond the lines together. It still works fine on the bambu printers but it doesnt excatly slice and print as before.
