Description
Custom Mounting pod / enclosure for Auxbeam 6 Gang Upfitter Switch Panel.
Designed specifically to fit Ford F-150 2015-2020 and F-250 F-350 (2017-2022)
The lower body of the enclosure has a custom fit wedge design that has been sized to fit in the open space immediately to left of steering column as pictured. You can try using double sided tape to mount to dash, or affix using screws and provide holes on model for screw mounting. I tried using double-sided tape at first and almost immediately felt if wasn't secure enough. If you decide to screw it in, I recommend only screwing in lower 2 screws into lower kick panel/dash piece. It's plenty secure and allows the lower kick panel to still be unclipped and lowered easily for future access under steering column.
The Switch Panel fits snuggly into the enclosure and includes a tension fit cap to give it a clean look covering the branding logo. Would recommend using a couple thing strips of 3m double sided tap along the underside of the caps lip for additional security.
Also, the inside of the enclosure has 4 small holes designed for 5mm magnets that can be added to help magnet to back of switch panel. Really not necessary and overkill, but there if you want them.
Best to print face-down as shown in profile with support settings as configured.
