Description

1/10/25: I have optimized the studs on the plate so they are tight. I will keep both files and print profiles up and have a test print included in each of them for your preference.

I initially created a display stand for my “Brick” Star Wars Tie Interceptor since its wings bend in if placed on a flat surface. So I made a 2x4 plate one for my Tie Interceptor and then wanted more display stands for more ships!!! So by popular request, here is one for your larger ships like the Coruscant Guard Gunship! I also spent some time fine tuning the studs on the plate so that they are easy to insert or remove from your model but have just enough retention force that the stand will lift with the model (see photo 4/5).

Help me buy more filament so I can make more cool designs! 😁

If you would like a taller version, please let me know how much clearance you need underneath the connecting surface. (I know some people would like a stand for a Tie Fighter or Imperial Shuttle, but I don't own either of these and don't know how tall you need it 😁) I also have a flat version of a 2x4 plate in my Star Wars collection.

The stand uses a 4x4 plate that is “Brick” compatible and shouldn't stress your set's bricks as it's ever so slightly undersized.

The stand height is about 2" so be sure to check out what kind of clearance you need.

I made the base the same shape and detail as a standard Tie Fighter wing.

The stand is also designed in such as way that you do not need any supports with the max overhang angle being 45°.

Enjoy and be sure to check out my other Star Wars designs (Including the my Build Your Own Lightsaber collection you can see below)! 😊

awesome print and design for sure ! thanks man ! but I was wondering can you do a plate like 6x6 ? Because with the Gunship I didnt feel safe enough like I did with old ghost since its higher and has a weird balance.

the accuracy of the studs allows you to snap in place your Starwars bricks model and it feels secure. I like the angle of the stand, it gives a dinamic look to your ship. great design.

I'm glad you like it so much! I figured it would always look cooler if it's angled and I think that holds up 😁 thanks for the feedback!
