How It Works
The Squid Game Coffin Vault uses a rack-and-pinion mechanism to achieve its smooth and unique opening motion.
- Rack and Pinion Mechanics:
- The two rods on either side act as the "racks" in this system.
- The gear attached to the bow serves as the "pinion."
- When you turn the bow, the pinion gear rotates, driving the racks linearly in opposite directions.
- This coordinated motion causes the top and bottom parts of the coffin vault to slide apart, revealing the storage space inside.
This clever mechanism offers both functionality and a fascinating mechanical display, making it a fun and interactive experience every time you open it!
