Description

A 3 layer oreo fidget slider! 

has been designed to hold 9 5x2mm magnets snuggly without the use of glue.

 

The pause has been added at the right layer so when it stope printing simply add your magnets and click resume.

 

Black sections - 1 half with magnets all facing upwards then flip magnets and fill the other half

White section - all magnets facing the same way

Didn't realize the pauses were not already built in, so didn't get to put rhe magnets in.

This is a super clean print. You cannot tell the difference from the real thing unless you pick it up. I made a couple of them to test out. One I simply glued together before I had the right magnets and one I used the magnets. It did not stick together too well but that is no fault of the print, it was due to the magnets not being strong enough. The magnets fit perfectly at the built in pause.

I love it! only problem is that my magnets are not very strong. may I suggest that you put more magnet holes the filling part? I feel like it would be a lot of fun. I more clicks! thanks for the model! I love it!

can you tell me which ways the magnets are put in? I really love this model but I want to make sure I do it right

hi there, the design is press fit so just make sure to press them all the way in or they can get stuck on your nozzle. make sure the black parts have opposite polarity so place magnets in the first piece all facing the same way then flip the stack of magnets for the other piece. the white part doesn’t matter as long as they all face the same way :)

Can you adapt the model to magnetic for 6x3 ?

scale the x/y by 118.50 and the z by about 150 and it should fit

can you suggest which layer to add magnets? I paused it and the printer knocked the magnets right off once it started again, then I missed the window to add the magnets.

Layer 12 for the outer shell and layer 15 for the filling :)

Bed Adhesion Issue:went soo fast at 50% speed that it had a lot of stringing

I understand now that I was supposed to stop and put the magnets mid print, but that wasn't very clear
