Description

Spanish mare, who I named August Queen. Shes is a slight remaster version of my 2nd sculpt made with Nomad for iPad.

I printed her in white matte Bambu PLA and painted her to a dapple gray with acrylics.

Aah, yes, printing these kinds of sculptures can be tricky in FDM (they’re better for resin really). I have no perfect method and settings yet, but got less and less fails 😀

Some have tried to print her upside down. She sure is a challenge to get successful in an FDM printer.

super nice model. Tried to print this one with TPU but the details were too delicate for flex filament. otherwise the model is amazing and i def try to print it out with PLA later. Just lovely!

Thank you 😀 This model is ideally best for resin print, but possible in FDM. This is why I still decided to share it on here.

I set the support structure to standard, as the "rear" detached from the print bed with tree support.
