Created a V2 of the build plates moving some of the more temperamental versions to an “Experimental” plate.  These fidgets are meant to be total customizable to the user.  Stretch it, enlarge it and squash it!   Have fun with it.  Post your tries!

Wanted to make a simple model that would help demonstrate some simple physics concepts.  I left a few of them out on the counter and later watched my daughter play with it for half the day.  Created 2 thicknesses and one with a handle.  I have printed them in all different scales, varying the XYZ axes independently to create all different sizes.  No supports required, unless you want the handle.  All of them worked well!  My daughter named it the “Swish Fidget” due to the sound the silk PLA makes as it slides.

The physics concepts I was trying to help with were: normal force, balance forces, vertical/horizontal force, Newton's 3 Laws (inertia), centripetal force, center of mass, etc.  I created the center piece to be solid so If you print it at 100% infill it will have some substantial mass and allow for better application of these concepts.
