Description

This is a stylus based on the original specs for a popular kids 12" LCD drawing tablet available on Amazon.

The one that comes with it has a very fragile nib that breaks easily, and my kids are always losing these things so I decided to create a printable version.

There is a separate profile if you just want a single colour, and whilst it takes longer the overall finish is much nicer when printing vertically.

it printed great and detached from the supports really easily, it just doesn't function as a stylus. tried it on a tablet and on a phone. nada.

Exactly what I needed. Print started to fail at the top. Probably needs to be printed at a slower speed.

Support Issue:The model moves too much at the higher layers so it wiggles around.

works well, top section snapped off on A1 mini with default settings, but better support generation would probably fix

Strength Issue:The print worked wonderful until the little handle at the end, the rapid movements shook the pen so violently that even on silent mode it would mess up the top. If it were me I'd add slim tree supports near mid-top to the sliced file. The model it self is good but the sliced file could be better.

Thanks for the feedback, I did have that issue initially during my testing and did indeed add supports at the top which helped. However I wasn’t happy with it and settled upon the current design with brim and supports at the bottom which added enough stability to print reliably for me as you can see from the pics. So yes you’ll have to add the supports if you have stability issues.
