Endless Design Lab's Original Level Four SierpiĹski Snowflake Fractal Pyramid introduces a new level of intricacy and complexity, pushing the boundaries of fractal design. This model showcases advanced geometry while still being optimized for vase mode printing, making it both technically impressive and visually stunning.
Perfect for enthusiasts looking to elevate their collection, this fractal combines mesmerizing patterns with a seamless printing experience.
Key Features -
Quick Print Options: In vase mode, the pyramid form prints in just 3 hours and 13 minutes
Modular Design: Display as a Hexagonal Pyramid for half the fractal or glue two halves together to form the full Hexagonal Bipyramid structure.
Vase Mode Ready: Maintain its elegant details in vase mode with or without a bottom layer.
Advanced Detail: Level Four introduces significantly more intricate geometry, creating a striking visual display and countless opportunities for cross-section exploration. Watch closely. Who knows what secrets you may uncover throughout the model⌠đ§Źđ¤Ťđ§Ź
Take your fractal collection to the next level with this designâperfect for fractal enthusiasts and anyone interested in pushing the technical boundaries of what's possible with their 3D printer.
Stay tuned for Levels Five and Six, where the fractal patterns become even more breathtaking!
3D Print Settings -
This model was created and optimized for FDM printers with vase mode enabled. For best results, use spiral vase mode WITHOUT the "smooth spiral" option checked in your slicer settings. If you donât see the "smooth spiral" checkbox in your slicer, no worriesâjust be sure to use Spiralize Outer Contour (or a similarly named option in your slicer, such as spiral/vase mode).
Ensure your slice gap closing radius is set to 0, as this is critical for proper vase mode printing. Without this setting, the slicer may close gaps that are necessary for the model to print correctly.
Printing Tip:
For best results, enable the âSkirtâ option in your slicer to ensure consistent nozzle pressure from the start. Skipping the skirt may cause a âfunnyâ or deformed corner on the first layer, because the nozzle pressure wonât be properly primed when the print begins.
To achieve the intricate line pattern on the bottom as shown in the photos, set the number of bottom layers to 0.
While this may sound complicated, slicing this model is actually simple and straightforward as long as you follow the instructions. However, if you find yourself having trouble, Iâm happy to help! Just send me a message, and Iâll get back to you as soon as I'm able to do so.
Have Fun! đĽł
