Description
I ordered these official anti-vibration feet with my X1C and after a fair amount of trial and research with a liberal sprinkling of user errors, I ended up deciding to put my X1C directly on a concrete paver (slab), which you can find copious details about on the bambulab forums or any search online. I liked this great video from CNC Kitchen as well.
This unfortunately left me feeling like I might have wasted some money on these feet and decided the best remedy would be to just… uh… use them too!
So here we are. I threw this model together to allow me to push the anti-vibration feet into a slightly tapered hole to position them on the corners of my concrete paver. I used a small amount of double stick (double sided) tape to hold these where they belong before flipping the tile over and grunting authoritatively to make sure my wife knows I am a strong independent man who doesn't need help and definitely didn't scratch the wall or get concrete dust all over the floor. Designed for ease of printing with no overhangs or funky business. There are probably better ways to do this, but this is what I ended up with and at least for now, it appears to work well for me. I am not measuring but it feels quieter, so even if its just my brain lying to me I'll take it.
Added note: In case it isn't obvious, this is for the newer model of the anti-vibration feet with the hexagonally positioned segments at the top.
