Description

1/144 scale card kit model of the Dornier Do-17z light bomber. Part of my “Battle of Britain Series”. The Do-17z was used by the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain to attack airfields and shipping. Designed as a “fast bomber” it was nicknamed “Fliegender Bleistift” (the Flying Pencil" for it's thin rear fuselage. Other models in this series will be the Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire, Messerschmitt Bf-109, Messerschmitt Bf-110 and a few others.
