Unfortunately, the model broke upon firm handling during the first attempt. I then scaled it up and added more infill. Now it holds and is very useful

Very good! Just don't mix filler like I did or it'll snap. The next version I'll tweak to have 100 infill to avoid the snapping. Unless you can make a couple of versions?

so the first couple I made didn’t work out; the shaft broke off. BUT, I found that by drilling out the shaft with a 3/8” drill and super gluing a 1/4” threaded rod it seems to have more strength. we’ll see!

I increased the infill density a bit and printed it with PET-G, and it works great.
