Boom Mic Wall Mount (Single Stud)

I was so tired of my boom microphone being clamped to the edge of my desk, always in the way. My solution was to find a way to mount it to my wall. The problem, is that there isn't a great method to do so without something custom. The microphone is also heavy and puts a large torsion point on the wall, so drywall anchors likely would fail quickly.

Photos are of a slightly different previous revision, same print settings. Saving ~10% weight and around 1 hour of print time on this version.

So I made another “single-stud” solution for this purpose. Pulling from my design of the BoboVR battery holder, I designed this new Boom Mic Mount.

It seems to be standardized (I have a couple different similar booms, and they all share the same size insert. If you have issues or need a different size, feel free to leave a comment or remix.
