Description

DOUBLE CHECK WHICH VERSION YOU NEED BY CHECKING THE VERSIONS BELOW.

Description:

This is a stackable can dispenser. The purpose of this was to fit as many cans of different types as possible in my standard depth fridge which for my use case was the 12oz 7 can version. See the versions section at the bottom for what cans and what capacities are supported. Leave a comment if you'd like me to add a different can size, ideally with measurements.

Printing:

I printed with Bambu PETG Basic but whatever you have should be fine. The pegs that hold it together are fairly tight, scale them down if you need to, especially if you're using a brittle filament. You may also want to use brim on the pegs if you're not using something with good bed adhesion.

Assembly:

The parts are assembled with 20 pegs. You will need an additional 8 pegs per level you wish to stack. Super gluing the joints during assembly is recommended, though not completely necessary depending on your imperfection tolerance.

This looks like exactly what I need! Would you be able to make variants for a 12oz skinny and 19.2 oz? 12oz skinny - https://www.crowncork.com/beverage-packaging/products/beverage-cans/12oz-355ml-crownsleek 19.2 oz - https://americancanning.com/products/standard-brite-can-19-2-ounce

Works as advertised. I had to scale down the joining pins to about 85% to get them to fit snuggly but not so snuggly that they broke. I also used super glue and clamps to stick everything together.

thank you for that! I was getting very frustrated after breaking pins. I’ll drop their size. I also considered heating the holes with the heat gun for a second.

these print great! have to be a little carefull, too much force will sheer the pegs. I grabbed a plastic welder and fixed the one I broke, and wow does it make these rock solid. A++. I used PETG - no problem!

Loving this! It was a bit of a pain to assemble and I could only fit the 5-can version in my fridge but it is so nice to have!

it printed what it said it would. i have gripes about it though. it takes an A1 6 hours to complete a plate which means the full two levels takes 24 hrs. thats wild to me. second, the dowels are really small and the whole thing is unpleasant to put together. plus even though they are all printed at the same scale some are loose and others are tight. just really irritating. overall, takes too long to print and the assembly is just, there has to be a better way.

it’s not rolling because you have it set on the raised lip of your fridge shelf.

Replying to @zach13 :
right you are! i edited my review and took that factor out of it. im sorry 😔. we are using it daily. its very useful. its the dowel situation. without them I would have given 5 stars and kept my mouth shut despite the long print time. the dowels made me emotional.

the 12oz version almost perfectly fits european (german) 400ml cans (tomatoes, etc). it is ~15mm too wide (10mm to be safe) and the lid is ~10mm too high (if you stack another one on top) I printed the 5 can version (fits 4 german cans), as it perfectly fits into my cupboard (ikea metod 35cm)
