AMS Lite Hub Helmet (Support) - A1 / A1 mini
Print Profile(2)

Description
AMS Lite Hub Helmet - The Ultimate AMS Lite Hub Support
I could not find a minimalistic AMS Lite Hub supporter that offered good support.
- If it provided good support, it was bulky and added a lot of weight = Bad
- If it was light and minimalistic, it did not fully support the movable hub = Bad
So, I designed the AMS Lite Hub Helmet. And it does both, Light weight and fully supports the movable Hub while allowing it to move freely.
This version is final and designed for PCTG filament or other similar materials that do not creep. Tested with 3D-Fuel PCTG, the AMS Lite Hub Helmet will offer the perfect AMS Lite Hub Support while being light and agile!
*I tried using PLA, but PLA is creeps to much. I found that the Hub Helmet (made with PLA) would become loose after some time. It seems that PLA is not able to hold its shape over time for this use case.
What makes it different?
By having unique geometry that differs from the top to the bottom. The bottom is designed to fully engage with the lower non-moving area of the AMS Lite Hub. The top half is uniquely designed to fully support the movable top half of the AMS Lite Hub, but only interfaces with a very small surface area and allowing the AMS Lite Hub to move freely!
Weighing only 3.07 grams (3D-Fuels PCTG- Bambu Studio's estimate), this add-on will not interfere with the speed and quality of the A1 / A1 mini.
Prints in 35m23s (3D-Fuels PCTG, Bambu Studio estimate)
How to Install,
- Remove the four PTFE Tubes
- Slide on the AMS Lite Hub Reinforcer, gently pushing it fully down
- Check for freedom of movement of the AMS Lite Hub
