Door Holder / Door Stop

This simple door stop/holder is a genuine boon for us.

Until now, we always placed a board in front of some of our exterior doors to prevent them from slamming shut unintentionally.

With this simple and very helpful door holder/stop, we no longer need to do this.

Simply open the door fully, and the handle engages.

To disengage, simply press down and pull the handle.

With very little effort, we have created significant added value that we would not want to be without.

Two bores are provided for fastening with 4.5 mm countersunk screws.

The door holder is slightly curved on the top to prevent water droplets from accumulating.

To ensure the door holder fits your door, simply check the following three dimensions:

• The diameter of the door handle must be 24 mm or less.
• The space between the door handle and the door leaf must be at least 40 mm (30 mm with the second print profile).
• The door handle must be able to be depressed at least 22 mm at the point where the door holder is to be mounted (20 mm with the second print profile).

Edit 2024-01-04:
Based on the comment with photo from user_287530738 (2025-01-04), I have created an additional print profile with a 10 mm shorter door holder.
This provides a space of at least 30 mm between the door handle and the door leaf.
A corresponding dimensional drawing can be found in the print profile.
