Description

Boost Me (for free)

Im Working on a new way to design peg boards. No more just plain square blocks, we going to have a new hex mix and match.

There is a a1 mini size and a p1/a1 size. Try it out

Hi please print the A1 size for 20mm spacing. I fixed it only for that size so far.

Newer Version is out with Screws at each edges, for M3 screws or M4/#6 inch Counter screws.

Wow that looks really good! I am thinking of way of connecting them so we dont need to screw all of them on

My daughter wanted some Skadis boards but not the ugly squares, so I printed multiple of these for her desk area which came out lovely. My only criticism are that the distance between the holes and depth of the board isn’t compatible with all Skadis components so had to do a little customisation. Other than that they look great

any advice on getting accessories to fit on the board ?

How did you connect the plates? Or were they all drilled individually?

@kabos - they are not sadly connected together but each one needed two drill holes to mount to keep it secure. I found some washers with caps somewhere on makerworld :)

great design but doesn't match the original ikea offset

Another thread says the same. I don't want to print something not compatible with vanilla components from other connectors. I really like the design though!

Confirmed by printing the first layer. Sizes between holes are not compatible with my one other existing Skadis and it's attached items. I've cancelled my print. Would advise recalculating or double checking measurements for compatibility. Also would advise caution for potential printers of this model - measure after your first layer to confirm compatibility. Disclaimer: I'm not a pro and I'm only trying to help. If I'm wrong, or if the model is updated, lmk and I'll post back if I can confirm.

used V2 but should apply to this model as well: scaled it down to 92,46% (Z-axis still 100%) and now fits my accessories. midpoint to midpoint hole distance is 40mm horizontal, 55mm vertical

I'm having issues finding a shelf that that Dosent sag. is this product just as thick as normal Skadis?

so in this sense it would be x92.46 y100 z100?

X an Y axis down to 92,46%, thickness (Z axis) stays at 100% :)

The holes don't align with standard Skadis board or is it just my prints?

What do you mean by dont align, can I see a picture?

Replying to @PhilthePrinter :
the white board is an IKEA Skadis, the black one is printed from an A1 mini (unmodified).

oh yes it was designed to be half to give more options in combinations, so instead of two it would span across 4 of them. From midpoint to midpoint it should be 40mm, but with the A1 mini version its 20mm apart.

is it strong enough to hold things?

It should be feels sturdy, but it is also still a work in progress! I have a 5 mm solid version for the larger print beds in the stl section , that should be strong, but cant hide the edges. Let me know what you think and what I can do better!
