Stand for the Harbor Freight Mini Toolbox

Even if you can't BOOST, that is fine. but please give me a FOLLOW to be sure and keep up with my latest designs!!! Thank You 😊

I picked up one of the US General Harbor Freight Mini Toolboxes over the Holiday and decided to make a stand for mine!

Seeing as how mine will be on my desk at work and I'm sure things will pile up in front of it, I made a stand to lift the toolbox up off the desk to not block access to the bottom drawer. It also frees up a little bit of space for more storage under the toolbox too!

I was able to make the stand fit on just 1 single plate for my A1 Mini.

Minimal support is needed (on the baseplate only). I did increase the wall loops & infill density to (20%) add a little strength as well.

The 2 pins that hold it together are a tight fit (intended), as you should only need to put it together once!

stand came out awesome. I’m not sure if it has supports but next time I’ll add em just for the bottom part to reduce the strings with petg.

Is that design on the side vinyl or laser engraved? Was trying to decide if I wanted to try laser engraving mine before I saw this.. now I definetely want to lol

laser engraved with a 60w mopa fiber laser. Any laser should theoretically do this, but a CO2 laser would be best and not damage the metal underneath.

how much space under the toolbox does this make? I'm hoping for around 4.5 inches so I can fit my soldering iron underneath it.

It adds almost exactly 3 inches. I added rubber sticky feet to the bottom of my stand so that it sits a tiny bit taller. I only made it this tall to keep it a (somewhat) quick, single plate print, on my A1 Mini. It shouldn't be too hard to stretch it out in Bambu Studio to make it taller. It will require multiple plates to print though. Glue also since the pins that hold it together will be looser in the holes.

looks like I need to figure out how to stretch the print then lol, I've never altered anything before, I honestly didn't know you could

it’s awesome I was not sure if it was going to stay together without the box on it if I put pressure at the seam it would bend but once the box was on it no problem 👍 I will post a picture of it. You have to excuse the mess, but that is one of the reasons I needed it lol

works perfectly, I have this tool box packed full stuff and it’s very sturdy. I did have to edit the print slightly by removing the pins and printing them separately at a very slow speed. but other than that very good!

Looks Great! Thanks for sharing the picture 😊 yeah, some people did have issues with printing the pins, so I did add an extra profile with just the pins for those that needed it.

had to super glue the centers together as they were bowing in the middle even with the supports but has been great since then!

One of my test stands bowed in the middle as well, but that ended up being due to a broken pin. I increased the pin size to be a tighter fit to resolve this in my testing, but super glue should get it done too! Looks good!
