This 3D model is a remix of “Old Arrow Maker,” (Edmonia Lewis - 1866) a historic sculpture from the Smithsonian archives. The piece depicts a serene scene with two figures—a Native American elder crafting an arrow while seated beside a young woman. This culturally significant artwork has been carefully remixed and optimized for high-quality 3D printing in Bambu Studio. The resolution has been lowered for easier editing of the model, the base was trimmed slightly to ensure a level bottom surface. The intricate details, from the folds of their clothing to the elder’s necklace, have been preserved to honor the original design while ensuring smooth printability. Ideal for art enthusiasts, history buffs, and makers alike, this model serves as a perfect addition to any collection.
Printing Notes: The model is designed for easy slicing in Bambu Studio and is best printed using supports only on the baseplate. This model was remixed from a Smithsonian Digital Scan and developed for print through Bambu Labs.
