Description

A screw on oil funnel for Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

I found that the existing designs didn't have caps which is messy for storage so I designed my own. This should fit most Toyota and Lexus cars. I've tested it on a Lexus RX350 (pictured) with the 2GR V6 and it works great. The hanging loop could interfere with plastic covers in engine bays so I included a model without it.

Screw thread is M37x3.0

Funnel is about 149.3 mm tall and 125mm in diameter at the opening

Print material doesn't really matter but PETG is more chemically resistant than other polymers. Be careful when using it with a hot engine, as the funnel could melt. Also DO NOT use filled filaments (cf/gf) since you don't want fibers in your engine.

Various Camrys
3rd gen RX350 (hanging loop interferes a bit but still fits)
5.7 Tundra
CHR (without hanging loop)
5th Gen 4 Runner

The print profile is no longer public

Excellent profile. Prints perfect. Cap screws on easily. Printed with Bambu PETG-HF I have a 5th Gen 4Runner (1GR-FE 4.0L V6) and the funnel screws into the oil filler tube just fine.

Thanks for uploading the review @kydiwl - I've got the same engine in my old Prado, so I'm confident to give this a go now! I'm going to try transparent PETG so it's easier to see the oil as it's going in.

I used the generic PETG setting on my Bambu p1S and its the best quality Ive ever had using PETG (Overture black) . I do have one issue though, it didn't print the threads on the end of the funnel. It printed the cap fine. The threads are shown in Studio so i know the threads are there. Anyone have any ideas what happened? (I'm brand new to 3d printing)

Hi there, did you run out of filament mid print? When your printer runs out of filament it will automatically pause and have some alert on the screen.

I don't believe so, there was filament left on the spool and the printer had the "complete or finish" message on the display. I'm going to try to print again tonight and i will let you know how it goes.

Printed perfectly! looks awesome and works great too. I’d love to see one with a Lexus logo and maybe in two tone option but this thing is sweet! works on my 09 Sequoia and my 07 FJ Cruiser. threaded cap also work very well.
