Description

This is version 8 of my beyblade style tops with a stamina bit. This one has separate blade parts that are supposed to be able to move freely after the supports are broken.

This is compatible with BeybladeX style launchers if you don't have one of those, you can print one of my custom designed launchers:

@user_3813747984 Wow! must have been hit hard. I think I have the print profile set at 90% infill, did you lower that setting? I have never had mine break yet.

The chad bey 10 attack type I printed battled with this and sheared off it's spikes lmao. I printed them out of plastic matte though, probably my mistake.

Wow! The spikes are designed to pivot in and out, but I had a tough time getting all the supports out of the ones I printed to allow that feature to work. I print all my stuff with PLA Basic or Silk, so PLA matte should be just as good.

*update* nevermind, they just bent inwards. My bad lol. By the way to get the supports out, I would recommend just using clippers to grab them and twist them out. The spikes are tight, and I folded all of mine in, but maybe more room for them would solve the problem.

@requig Thanks for the tips on cleaning supports. I will probably update that Bey design in the future to make the spikes be able to spin more freely. My goal is usually to make print in place beys without need for assembly, but it is pretty tough to put in moving parts that actually move without supports getting in the way :). My Chad Bey 7 was the most successful having the outer ring be able to move after you loosen it up from printing. Chad Bey 9 has small discs that don't move.

lighter than 7 and 8 but has the spinning spikes. great print. supports came out easily.

Yep it is like an awakening to loosen up the blades. My newer Solar Blast is a remake of this one that the blade gimmick works better.
