Description

Rapha 500 - 500 kms. Eight days. 24 – 31 December. A tradition like no other.

Have you completed the Festive 500 this year? Or know someone who has? How about you celebrate by gifting yourself or them a medal!!!

Prints fine with a 0.4 nozzle would be even better in a 0.2!

Printed with a PS1 with 0.4 with the following filament:

Elegoo Rapid PLA Plus White

Ziro Midnight Green Sparkle (Yes, I went fancy but it doesn't show well) – I believe this year's colour is Navy is you want it more on brand!

Helpful Note:

Most of my prints are detailed and have fine lines - you may wish to download and print with a 0.2 nozzle however all are tested with a 0.4 nozzle. If you use certain filaments such as matte ones these are more prone to bleeding colour and you may wish to look at the purge settings. Above all: It is essential that you have a clean bed and use a small bit of adhesive, my go to is 3DLAC. This means that the finer details will stick to the bed without issue.

Congratulations - it is a tough challenge! I managed it this year too! 12,500kms this year. There are a few other cycling medals on my profile but feel free to shout if you want a specific. I enjoy making them.

Mega cool, I printed this medal for my husband. He cycled 500km without a Strava account, so he deserved a medal. I love that the year is on it, that's why I chose this print.
