Description
An alpha-helix from 2HHB.pdb containing aminoacids 1VLSPADKTNVKAAWGKVGA19, chain A, visualized as cartoon. Stabilizing H-bonds between the peptide backbone atoms as well as sidechains are highlighted.
I made this to use it for teaching Biochemistry and Structural Biology.

The model was re-orientated using the Auto-orientation plugin in Cura. I have used extensive supports and were a bit difficult to remove. Some side-chains snapped, but I glued them back.
