A versatile 3D-printable magnetic pen holder designed for attachment to magnetic surfaces like fridges or whiteboards.
This model offers two printing options:
- Hidden Magnet Design: Features an internal compartment for embedding magnets during the print for a seamless finish. - Requires supports
- Glue-On Magnet Design: A support-free option where magnets can be easily glued onto the model after printing.
The design is configured for 12mm x 2.5mm magnets (requires 4 for assembly) but can be easily adjusted by modifying the negative cylinder dimensions in Bambu Studio to fit other magnet sizes.
If working with Hidden Magnet Design - hit pause in the slicer at the highest point of the hole for the magnet:

An example is printed in PLA, but other materials can be used as well.
