Description

It looks like a waterproof box, but it does not have waterproof functionality. Assembly requires eight M2×30mm screws and an equal number of M2 nuts.

The part where the lid fits is just designed to look the part. I simply wanted to try creating something that looks the part.

I wouldn’t recommend this for your mobile phone either. If you absolutely must, place your phone in a box and then put it inside a waterproof bag before throwing it.

Realized it uses 2m bolts which I don't keep on hand, won't be fiddling with it. Design prints well.

Why not design seal edges to be water tight. One side flat the other with 55-60% of diameter (1.75mm) grove and use a TPU filament as the seal?

Thank you for your feedback. I’ve actually designed and printed this several times, but I haven’t been satisfied with the results, so I haven’t been able to release an updated model yet. I’m sorry that I can’t promise when it will be ready.

is there a way to size it for M3 or M4 screws?

In the current Fusion 360 profile, only the size can be adjusted, so it's not possible to change the bolts being used at this time. I apologize for the inconvenience. Once my skills improve, I’ll add a new model to accommodate different bolts.
