Gift Ribbon Holder

My wife loves wrapping gifts and has a large collection of ribbon rolls. To keep them neatly organized on a cupboard door, I designed these ribbon holders.

These holders are mounted in pairs and each holds a 10mm aluminum tube from the hardware store, cut to size. These tubes are available in lengths around 2m and are inexpensive. Aluminum is quite soft and can be cut with a standard household wood (fine) or metal saw. Don't forget a mask and safety glasses.

This provides the rolls with enough distance from the wall to unroll freely.
