Description
The xTool F1 Ultra Laser comes with a very handy small touchscreen. The screen is designed to be placed next to the laser on the table.
For me, the angle is too flat, the screen lies almost flat, so I drew and printed a holder that allows the screen to stand on the table at about 45 degrees.
At the bottom I made four 2mm deep and 10mm wide holes into which you can glue small anti-slip pads.
I never thought so many people would love my design.
So I drew a second version in which the screen ends flush with the edge of the holder. (The screen gets thicker towards the top.)
This allowed me to design a lid that can protect the screen.
At first I wanted to secure the lid with magnets, but that would have made the edge thicker, which doesn’t look nice.
Instead, I made two small notches in the lid, which allow it to be held in place with a simple rubber band, so that it doesn’t fall off during transport.
I have three plates in the print profile:
- the original version,
- the second version with the flush edge,
- and the lid.
Happy printing!
