Description

This is 3D printable model of the Sovereing Class NCC-1701-E Enterprise from the Star Trek. It is a kit. Apart from the thrusters, which have to be glued in place, there is no further need for any glue and the model could be assembled as a kit. The different colored parts are separated for easier printing.

I am limited by free display space, thus the ship is designed in the scale like this. Unfortunately this scale negates some details. Thus, if you have the space, I recommend to print the entire print in 125% scale, It will be better for the details and it will still fit to the MK3/MK4 printing bed (with the exception of the stand, but you can leave it as it is ).

Pieces of the necelles and some details need to be separated into separate models in the slicer ;)

In the suffix of the files, there are color codes:
bl-blue
w-white
d-dark
o-orange/bronze
b-black
r-red

Files without the sufix are done with grey color

For the assembly, please have a look at the following video.

Wow, how did you keep the colours when scaled up? when I split in Bambi studio it removes the colour

Great model and build printed on the H2D. I changed up the ship name and registry though I couldn't adjust the base plate. Would be good to see a mod for those parts that allow for variants on the Sovereign Class. Filament used was: Bambu Translucent Red and Blue PETG Overture matte Space Grey and Navy Blue I tried the nacelles several times with different supports and support adjustments. I found splitting the nacelles in half dropped supports to only a couple and ended up with a near perfect finish. The join is not noticeable and it is strong due to the pylons and nacelle components holding it together.

Love the colour scheme

I am having the same issue, supports on the nacelles bottom edge are a mess to remove, I will need to figure out how to split as you have, or look at modifying the support settings

In Bambu Studio I just used the cut button. It made the cut exactly in half and rotated the cut nacelles. Then it was just brim and tree support.

I noticed that you actually put the outer rim piece of the saucer section on upside down. it’s flat side should be the bottom of the ship and it’s sloped side the top. when you put it on like that, the slope is in line with the slope on the top saucer section. it confused the heck out of me until I figured that out since it looks like it should be the opposite of that when you are assembling just that piece to the bottom of the saucer section piece but then the edge is off and doesn’t look right like there are pieces missing when you attach the top saucer section and I went looking for missing pieces for a while before I figured this out and thought I would pass it on to others that posted pictures looking like the also messed this up.

Love this model. Printed it at 175% (roughly 1:900 scale). I printed on both P1S and H2S printers. Filaments Used: - Bambu Basic Silver (Main Hull) - Bambu Basic Dark Gray - Bambu Basic Black - Bambu Silk+ Gold - Bambu Basic Jade White - Amolen Glow in the Dark Blue - Amolen Glow in the Dark Red - Amolen Glow in the Dark White (Windows) By the way, saw this idea from another but also recommend it, I split the nacelles to print vertically in order to get a cleaner print and found it made a significant improvement.

Hello, your model absolutely blew me away — it’s far better than mine. I’d love to learn how you made it. Could you tell me how you cut the parts for the 175% scale? Would you mind sending some photos to show me?
