I saw a beautiful seven-pointed star in the church and was captivated by it. When I got home, I decided to model it with some added style. It's designed with 5 stars stacked to create a stunning 3D effect with shading and reflection. It makes a wonderful Christmas tree topper. The supporting pole can be removed for easy storage.
Dimensions:
- Point to point: about 21.6 cm.
- Inscribed in a circle with a 22.2 cm diameter.
- With the supporting pole, the tree topper stands about 27.6 cm tall.
Material:
- The star's halves and alignment studs are made from dual-color, Gold/SilverGrey, PLA silk.
- The support pole is printed with forest green PETG-HF.
Assembly:
This model is designed to be easily assembled without glue. The two halves of the star are held together by 4 studs that can be pressed in by hand. If the assembly feels loose due to different filament shrink rates, a couple of drops of glue will secure it.
