12-ton to 6-ton vehicle bottle jack adapter

This is a sleeve that can go around a 6-ton hydraulic bottle jack to make it compatible with saddles for 12-ton jacks that have tube inner diameter of 42mm. If you search on Amazon for “42mm jack adapter”, you'll see what I mean.

The particular bottle jack used as reference is the Duralast 6-ton (SKU# 487298) sold by Autozone, but it will be compatible with other bottle jacks as long as the following measurements match:

Saddle diameter: 29mm or less

Extension screw diameter: 20mm

Extension screw overall length: 69mm or greater

It's printed out of PETG using 10 walls and 100% rectilinear infill. That setting is probably an overkill, but it's better to over-engineer than to take chances with it breaking while holding up a 6,000lb vehicle.

There are arrows to indicate which side is up. The little trench in the middle measures 7mm in width and 2mm in depth, just enough to secure the two using rubber band, o-ring or Velcro cable ties, although I found them to be unnecessary as the sleeve fits snug. Attached photo shows it being used in conjunction with the 6-ton bottle jack and 12-ton saddle adapter to lift the rear end of my 4-door Wrangler off the ground.
