Description

What is the fastest path down a hill? A straight line? Steps? A curve? Brachistochrone comes from the greek term for shortest time and depicts a cycloidal descent that mimicks the answer to a question posed in 1696! My son and I had a lot of fun thinking of different paths and seeing for ourselves!

Build with supports for critical points only. Will need 5 standard marbles (0.63").

I am a physics student, and this device came up for discussion in class. I decided to print it as a gift to the Prof and then, looking at it, I realized that it would also make a great gift for some of my nieces and nephews. Super job! Thank you so much
