Sanding sheet aid for 150mm / 6" orbital sander

I have created a simple positioning aid for 150mm / 6” inch sandpaper for my random orbital sander. This centering aid is suitable for 6-hole sandpaper. The positioning pins have a diameter of 9.5mm and worked well with my Metabo sander and Metabo sandpaper.
 

Choose the right pin height:

There are 2 models available, one with a centering pin height of 12mm and one with 20mm. I would recommend the 20mm version, as this makes it easier to place the paper on the sanding plate. 
 

Tips for use:

- the positioning pins are reinforced and robust

- press the sandpaper firmly onto the sanding pad

- I added 2 pull-off tabs for easier removal of the sanding pad
