Dune/Arch pattern never stops rocking! Another addition to my dune collection, which is a must-vase for every aesthetic lover! What's better than a full dune vase? You guessed it right! a half one :)

Why should you print this?

  • It has a beautiful minimalist pattern.
  • Trendy pattern on many online stores that sold millions!
  • It's two-in-one!
    • Use it as a normal vase, with dried flowers and roses
    • Use it as a candle vase, with my custom implementation (check my profile!) (https://makerworld.com/en/models/912675)

It has a bottom cut-out, in case something goes inside or gets dirty. The model can be printed in two orientations. I advise you to print it with the cutout facing bottom. You would be doing minimal support and do NOT use “tree support” for bottom-cutout orientation! It's gonna take long to remove it when it finishes.

There's a normal version and a wider version. The normal version is depicted and can be pretty hard to print. The wider version is the easiest for you.

The normal version comes with a full U length, while the wider version has a wider base and a shorter length.

if you wish to close one of thee opened slots, then print the “Candle lid” and simple attach and rotate :)

Print suggestions:

  • Infill: 5-10%
  • Pattern: Gyroid (strong structure!).
  • Support: Yes (Tree for top side, normal for cutout-side).
  • Nozzle head: 0.4 is optimal.

For the normal version:

Let it cool down completely so you could remove the support easily. Sanding isn't required to the bottom side unless your filament is not fully dried and/or the support wasn't removed well completely. In this case, 2000-3000 grit would be suitable!
