tl;dr:

A simple blower fan and USB C power supply to dry your CPAP hose.

 

It's listed as a “medical tool”, but it's only a simple fan that blows down a tube, it can only improve drying over having no airflow, not something that's designed to keep you alive.

 

Summary:

As a recent CPAP user I am coming to grips with the cleaning required.  Once of the steps to to wash and then dry the main hose.

There are a few off the shelf solutions (read expensive) as well as a few custom jobs varying from simple to more complex.

 

I happened to have a box of spare fans from 3D printers and wanted to play with USB C decoy boards… so here we are.  I'm slowly teaching myself Fusion, this being only the 5th item I have designed myself (and only the second with any level of complexity).  A few revisions (and a lot of learning) this is the (current) final version.  It's only printed in Bambu PLA Basic.

 

The parts are easily available on AliExpress and the 24V fan I'm using is happy running at 20V, although you could use lower voltage fans if you wanted.

 

You do need to make sure that the power supply you are using is capable of outputting 20V, although it only pulls about 0.08A and 1.6W so it doesn't need to be a powerful one.  Literally any USB C capable of 20V should work just fine.
