Description
Updating my workshop and set up a better way to prevent vibration. The set up and all parts are listed below. This was designed with these pieces specifically in mind.
Inspired by https://makerworld.com/en/@WalleriusDesign as their design did not work with the stated paver and includes additional features like the added alignment barriers. Give them a follow, they have some cool models on their page!
No supports are needed as the project was designed with that in mind.
The feet have a chamfered section on the top side (printed upside down) to glue in the alignment barriers. While the barriers may provide limited protection from the printer slipping, they designed and purposed for alignment.
Install pads on the paver. Note, I installed mine on the ‘top’ of the paver as the top has a slight chamfer which I wanted to avoid designing around. See image to for an idea on how to install pads.
Epoxy the feet to the corners of the paver. Secure and let epoxy cure.
Set printer on top and use the barriers to ensure it is centered.
Run some tests to ensure nothing slips.
I will also be adding some additional models designed to work with setting the printer on a paver and to accommodate the added ~2" (~50mm) of height from the bottom. This description will be updated accordingly.
Parts needed:
16"x16" or ~40cm x ~40cm paver:
Anti-slip pads (1 each):
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Scotch-Anti-Skid-2-Pack-4-In-X-6-In-Black-Plastic-Gripper-Pads/1002690314

These pads are the specific ones I used, but I am sure variations from other retailers will work as well.
Epoxy and Superglue (CA glue):
Pretty much anything will do.
