Description
Introducing my first model, the Snappy Car.
This is a small car model that comes in separate parts to make for optimized colored printing. The parts easily snap together. There are no supports.
Perfect with the use of a single AMS.
- Black for the wheels.
- I like to use Silver for the bumper.
- Your choice of color for the body.
- The same body color and then White is used for the backing of the number. (Set the number part to print immediately after the body to reduce the number of color changes to only 4!)
Customize with car number!
Numbers 1 through 9 are on a separate plate, so you can pick the number you want for each car.
My kids love 3d printed car toys, but many of them are not optimized for colored printing, so colorizing them would take many hours of print time with lots of waste. I wanted to start making some car toys which try to address this challenge. This is my first model, inspired from an animated show my kids enjoy.
I would like to expand this line of car toys with more that also snap together with alterable parts and accessories. Please share any suggestions for vehicles you would like to see in this style.
