(Samsung Fridge) Drip Tray
I was tired of spills and messes when dispensing water from my Samsung RS6JA811S9 fridge. Therefore I modelled this drip tray, it fits perfectly into my Samsung fridge, holding up to 400ml of liquid with ease. Obviously you could scale it up to catch even more:
Multi-Purpose Functionality
While designed for Samsung fridges, this drip tray has countless other uses! Use it as a mini water catchment tray, a mini planter base, coffee station add on, desk organizer, sponge base or a handy container wherever you need one. Don’t forget to share your prints and creative use cases.
Perfect Fit and Stability
The drip tray is tailored specifically for Samsung fridges, ensuring a snug and secure fit. The locating wedge prevents accidental dislodging by holding the tray firmly in place. The wedge is glued to the bottom of the tray. I’ve included a gluing guide to help you align it perfectly during assembly.
Easy Cleaning with Removable Grid
The tray features a removable grid on top, making it easy to clean and maintain. Simply lift the grid to rinse out any water or other residue.
Enhanced Waterproofing Options
To improve waterproofing, I coated the inner surface with wax. You could also use a layer of spray paint or adjust your slicer settings (such as increasing wall thickness / infill percentage / print speed / fan speed etc.) to make the tray even more watertight.
