88-96 Vitara soft top retaining clip, clip!

Do you have a Suzuki Vitara? Sidekick? Geo Tracker? etc.. 88-96? The MK1's…. Where your soft tops rear window, clips into those retaining clips on the tailgate?

Does the rod CONSTANTLY pop out no matter what you try??

Well, There's FINALLY a solution! :)

What you need to do is…

Open your tailgate…

Unscrew to the 2 screw per retaining clip…
Turn the clip 180 degrees, so it's “upside down”..
Screw it back on…
Close the tailgate! Push the rod into the retaining clips and fit the 3d printed clips! Bottom then top!

You NEED to turn the clips around otherwise there is NO space for the clips to fit!
And obviously you NEED to remove them BEFORE opening your tailgate!

I have printed PETG it works great for me! I can not say how other filament materials will work, last or hold up!
