Description

DESCRIPTION

If you've ever wanted to make use your Makita LXT 18V tool batteries for a project, you are going to want a solid and clean way to get to the battery terminals. My 3D adapter design provides a plastic plate that slips onto the battery, snapping on just like a Makita power tool skin.

The electrical 18V terminal connections are reproduced using a genuine Makita spare part (643852-2), glued into place. You will need to source those separately, but relatively inexpensive for a Makita part.

I’ve also included the STEP file to assist designers to integrate this adapter into their own designs.

Lookout for my other 3D designs that tailor this design into specific project.

ASSEMBLY

The 3D Makita LXT 18V Battery Mount is designed to directly fit the Makita 643852-2 Battery Terminal spare part.  I use epoxy resin glue to secure it permanently in-place.
