Description
To replace low-quality “Jeep” logo gel stickers on the hood with ABS (which can be chromed as well) to match the higher quality lettering options available on high-end Jeep products.
Generating the proper curve in CAD to the bottom side of the lettering provides quality fitment without post-production filing or sanding. Use double-side 3M tape affixed to this filleted side when placing on the car.
Printed on “Smooth Plate” to provide an elegant look that can be chromed or other treatment if desired. I have printed this logo with a variety of layer heights, and print speeds but recommend .12 with either the stock .4 nozzle or .2 nozzle depending on material choice. I filleted the letters on the face as well, if you have cad you may choose to change the fillets from .5mm to 1.0mm for a more rounded look. I left it at .5mm because a person could then push/extrude down the face to recess it for a unique look of painted letters with black outline for an even more unique look.
