Camaro ZL1 Custom Badges

I was asked to make some custom car badges for friend of a friend. This guy has a 1969 Z28 that he has essentially turned into the equivalent of the 2024 Camaro ZL1. He wanted badges made in the style of the 69 Z28, but have them say ZL1 instead. All parts were printed in petg. For the chrome pieces, I ended up printing with black petg then airbrushed that part with Allclad chrome paint. Painted does look closer to the real deal than the chrome petg filament. I did print one of the larger ones to keep on hand as a sample of my work. That is the one pictured and that is the chrome filament. To me i looks a little more brushed aluminum than it does chrome.

For the front and rear valance ones, they have 5mmx4mm heatset inserts and I also made a drill template. The car owner was going to use the template as a backing plate behind the front grille. The fender badges are attached with 3M VHB tape.
