Description

This is a mount for the Creality Space Pi dual filament dryer, although it could be used for other purposes. It was modeled to fit on the AMS Riser V2 by maCyo42. I printed the mount itself with the settings in the 3mf file, and for the base plate I switched to 15% rectilinear infill. This is my first model so any suggestions please feel free to let me know so I can further improve on the design.

Good on Ya. A few weeks ago I was looking for this exact thing. No luck. Made my own. Was gonna post, but you got it covered.

I would like to download your version as I wanted one that sits higher and takes less material. are you going to upload it? If not could you send it to me?

Nice idea! I think there is a lot of excessive material here. Would you be willing to provide step files so I can edit the model and take away some stuff to make it cost less material? as a starter the plate doesent need to be that thick and could all together be removed if proper brackets are made to hold stable. Hit me up in my dms if you wish! Thanks!

good job. much better than the other model that's on makerworld for the space pi. this one the weight is much better distributed. the only thing I tweaked was a few of the supports settings and like someone had said in the comments I added a negative in the middle to save some filament. printed in polymaker petg

It fits, it holds the dryer fine. But also you should absolutely cut a hole out of the middle of the base plate, it's completely unnecessary for it to be solid all the way through. I put a giant sphere with a negative part modifier over the middle of it with the slicer.

supports could use some tweaking to make them easier to remove. Model is great though

Could you tell me how far from table to bottom of mount? 🙏 Trying to see if it will fit me setup bc I desperately need this. looks like a little above the logo.

Very thick but turned out well!

Well you're dealing with 2k of filament, vibration, plus the weight of dryer. Rather be safe than sorry 😞
